Matthew Sowa graduated in photography at the Warsaw Higher School of Photography and received additional training and studies at the Institute of Artistic Photography in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Matthew has been working as a wedding photographer in Manhattan for more than a decade, covering more than 800 weddings. His documentary approach is balanced by contemporary portraits created in dramatic style. He pours enthusiasm, spontaneity and a fresh, original eye into his work.

His passion and unique perspective are reflected in intense and simple compositions, often in black and white form, leaving nothing distracting between content and viewer.
