Polish School of Education in Lakewood

The Aleksander Janty-Połczyński Polish School in Lakewood is a social and non-profit institution. Its welfare organization is the Polish Heritage Center. Polish language lessons are conducted on Fridays from 5:00-8:00. The school is directly subordinate to the Headquarters of Polish Higher Education Schools in America and the Educational Commission of Polonia American Cogres. These organizations, in turn, cooperate with the Ministry of Education and the Polish Teacher Centre in Poland. The aim of the School is to shape the Polish language and broaden the knowledge of the history, culture and traditions of the Polish nation. Classes are held at the Holy Family School (the Piners) building at 1143 E. County Line Rd in Lakewood, in the main wing of the School. When using the school building, we are obliged to complete the declaration and pay fees for the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, as well as submit to the calendar and activities of the School. We cordially invite children from 3 years to 18 years old. The criterion for the division of children in classes is the age of the child and the program is implemented according to the program of the Headquarters of Polish Schools in America based on textbooks imported from Poland and Chicago.
