Vista Trans Holding Inc. is a leading asset-based carrier located in Lake in the Hills, IL. With a robust fleet of 400 power units, we specialize in a range of transportation services, including Full Truckload (FTL), Truckload (TL), Less than a Truckload, dry, temperature-control, hazmat, and over-dimensional freight.

A dispatcher is responsible for:

• Coordinating and managing the pickup and delivery of ground-transported cargo;

• Negotiating the best rates with vendors, the most cost-effective delivery options with customers, and the most efficient routes with drivers, all while answering phones when drivers need assistance;

• Fulfill an administrative role by filing the appropriate paperwork, monitoring driver progress, Processing orders, and managing driver concerns.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the trucking industry as a dispatcher

• A certain understanding of current spot market trends

• Good knowledge and practical daily utilization of HOS

• Negotiation and logistics planning skills
