We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer & Systems Administrator who is passionate about technology, thrives on solving complex challenges, and wants to play a key role in building next-generation software products.
This position combines enterprise software development with systems administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creating software and maintaining the technology infrastructure behind it.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
Participate in software architecture, design, and technical planning.
Develop new platform features from concept to production.
Integrate third-party APIs and AI-powered technologies.
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Systems Administration
Administer Windows and Linux servers.
Manage Microsoft 365 environment, user accounts, and security policies.
Configure and maintain networks, VPNs, cloud services, and firewalls.
Monitor system performance, backups, and cybersecurity.
Support office infrastructure, workstations, printers, and hardware.
Ensure business continuity through reliable infrastructure management.
Project Support
Work on multiple software projects simultaneously.
Collaborate directly with company leadership on new product development.
Recommend new technologies and automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot technical issues across development and infrastructure.
Continuously improve internal systems and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven or Gradle.
Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
Experience with Git and version control.
Windows Server and Linux administration experience.
Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
Experience with Docker and virtualization technologies.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications
React, Angular, or modern JavaScript frameworks.
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
DevOps and CI/CD experience.
AI integrations and automation platforms.
Experience with SaaS product development.
Knowledge of logistics or enterprise business software.
