Polish St. Jadwig School of Education

The school was established at St. Hedwig's Parish in Flower Park was initiated by engineer Leon Young and several dedicated parishioners who understood the importance of preserving Polish culture and language among the youngest generation of American Polonia.

The headquarters of Polish Auxiliary Schools under the leadership of Eng. Young registered a Polish Auxiliary School for them. St. Hedwig among Polish schools in the New York metropolitan area, implementing

the curriculum for Polish schools.

Over the years, the number of students and teachers is steadily increasing.

The current director of the school is Emilia Boguszewska, MSc Eng. Spiritual care is given by the parish priest Piotr Rozek. Students acquire knowledge under the supervision of qualified teaching staff.
