All States Windows is a U.S.-based manufacturer of premium custom windows and doors. We are looking for an experienced developer to create an advanced 3D product configurator that allows customers, dealers, architects, and sales representatives to design custom windows and doors online.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced 3D Product Configurator Developer with knowledge of CAD, parametric modeling, and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems.
The ideal candidate will build an interactive web-based application where users can configure windows and doors in real time, generate instant pricing, create production drawings, and export manufacturing data.
Responsibilities
Develop a real-time 3D configurator for custom windows and doors.
Build a parametric system where changing dimensions automatically updates the model.
Create configurable products including:
Tilt & Turn Windows
Casement Windows
Double Hung Windows
Sliding Windows
Fixed Windows
French Doors
Lift & Slide Doors
Folding Doors
Allow users to configure:
Width and height
Frame profiles
Colors and finishes
Glass packages
Hardware options
Grilles
Mullions and transoms
Accessories
Automatically validate configurations based on engineering rules.
Generate:
Instant pricing
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Manufacturing data
Production drawings
Customer quotations
Integrate with ERP or manufacturing software (preferred).
Optimize performance for desktop and mobile devices.
Required Skills
Three.js, Babylon.js, Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar 3D technologies.
JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience building 3D product configurators.
CAD knowledge (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar).
Parametric modeling experience.
CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) experience.
Experience with REST APIs.
Database design.
Knowledge of manufacturing workflows.
Preferred Experience
Window or door manufacturing.
Cabinet or furniture configurators.
BIM, IFC, or Revit integration.
WebGL development.
CAD automation.
Manufacturing ERP integration.
