Job Title: Safety Coordinator.
Location: Lake in The Hills, IL.
Terms: Full-time.
Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (USA CT)
About the role: As a Safety Coordinator, an employee will be responsible for providing technical safety support to drivers and keeping appropriate records, monitoring safety regulations to ensure compliance with federal and state safety laws.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the compliance of CDLs, medical cards, truck registrations, annual inspections, monthly maintenance reports, and insurance certificates.
Ensure compliance with DOT random testing requirements coordinates and monitors EMBA drug and alcohol testing practices
Collect and organize on-board documents, organize and create all files, including DQ and Maintenance.
Record all new driver information into the system and physical folders, and maintain all records up to date.
Processing driver applications, ensure compliance with company policies, order required documents and investigate driver’s background, and perform annual reviews.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as Safety Coordinator
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
