Ziandara band offers a unique blend of folk, gypsy, Carpathian and other musical genres for everyone. Although all members of the band have spent most of their lives living in the United States, they continue to cultivate and promote their proud Highlander culture and music.
Many members of Kapela Ziandara's ensemble have also participated in many world festivals around the world, such as Poland, Mexico, France, Bulgaria, Hungary and more. The band's music combined many of these experiences, combining a traditional yet unique sound.
The Polish Uplands are also called Podhale (literally “under the mountains”). It is the southernmost region of Poland located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains in the Carpathians. People from this region are called Highlanders. The region is characterized by unique folklore, which stands out from other folk cultures in Poland. [Source: Here]
